**Role Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented **General Ledger Accountant** to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, in compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across our accounting operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Manage day-to-day general ledger activities, including posting journal entries, processing accruals, and performing account reconciliations
+ Oversee and ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
+ Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with US GAAP
+ Conduct general ledger account analysis and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure data accuracy
+ Develop, maintain, and execute SOX controls and process documentation
+ Provide accurate and timely information to support internal and external audits
+ Collaborate closely with other finance functions to streamline and improve accounting processes
+ Respond to ad-hoc requests for financial analysis and reporting
**Requirements**
+ Possess CPA certification or hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
+ Ideally 4 years of relevant accounting experience in General Ledger/Record to Report
+ Strong command of English, both written and verbal
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
+ Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
+ High attention to detail and accuracy
+ Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
+ Flexibility to adapt to process changes and business needs
**Preferred skills/experience:**
+ Knowledge of Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics GP
+ Understanding of US GAAP
